This morning I woke with my wife say, "Why am I wet? This feels wet! Did you wet the bed?" Both of the kids, my son is 8 and my daughter is 5, had crawled into bed sometime during the night. So, they were the obvious suspects. After a quick check, we found out it wasn't either of them. So, being the wise guy I usually am, I asked my wife if it was her... That didn't go over too well. She was in no mood since her side of the bed was soaked.
It turns out that some time in the night the cat, who had been laying on top of the comforter, urinated on the bed. The urine had soaked through our comforter, our down blanked, a top sheet and and another blanket and into the mattress.
We striped the bed and dowsed it with some Activated EM•1®. Between all the sheets and the mattress, we used about 16 ounces of Activated EM•1® on everything. The odor is gone and now its time to clean everything in the wash. I'm not sure what I would have done if we didn't have EM®!
